Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on assisting patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations, along with facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and timely.
• Assist with patient education and implementation of home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
