Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Overview

This is a full-time float position requiring movement between multiple locations within the region. The designated location for each shift will be communicated 2-4 hours prior to the start of the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures per established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient care is comprehensive and effective.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to respiratory therapy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment as necessary.
• Provide educational support to patients and families regarding respiratory care and devices.
• Utilize and perform various respiratory diagnostics effectively.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required at the time of application.
• Ohio RRT license must be actively held at the time of application.
• Availability to work weekends as needed and the ability to float among various facilities.
