Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiation Oncology

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Radiation Oncology to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the oncology department.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment and care to patients receiving radiation therapy.
• Monitor and assess patient progress and response to treatment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and potential side effects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards in the oncology unit.

Schedule

This position requires availability Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There are no weekend or holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in oncology or radiation therapy preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Location

This position is located in Milford, MA.
