Nursing Infusion

Position Overview

The Nursing Infusion role is integral to delivering high-quality patient care within an infusion setting. The selected candidate will provide specialized nursing care for patients requiring infusion therapy and ensure a safe, compassionate environment for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous therapies and medication according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and vital signs during infusion procedures.
• Educate patients and their families about infusion therapies, procedures, and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to infusion therapy.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience in infusion nursing is required.
• Ambulatory EPIC experience is preferred.
• A valid nursing license is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Flexibility to work 3×12 or 4×10 shifts, including two weekends per month to maintain consistency with current staff schedules.

Work Schedule

The role offers flexibility in shifts, with the expectation of either 3×12 or 4×10 hour workweeks, and requires working two weekends each month.
