Primary Registered Nurse (RN) – Community Hospice

As a Primary Registered Nurse in Community Hospice, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care to patients and families, often being referred to as their “angels.” This role transcends traditional nursing; it is a calling where you can reconnect with the fundamental reasons for becoming a nurse. In this position, you will utilize your strong clinical skills as well as your ability to teach and guide patients in identifying their personal goals of care. As a generalist in all diseases and a specialist in symptom management, excellence in assessment and critical thinking is essential.

As a Primary RN, you will manage an assigned caseload of patients while leading an interdisciplinary team dedicated to their care. Care will be provided in various settings, including private homes, nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living facilities.

Shift Information

• Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage required
• On-call responsibilities may apply

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required

Additional Information

Holiday coverage is required, ensuring continuity of care for patients during important times of the year.
