Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to join our surgical services team. This role involves working in a cardiovascular/thoracic unit, focusing on transplant and robotics. The position includes participation in weekend on-call requirements and floating as needed within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the operating room during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
• Float between various departments as required, adhering to scope of practice.
• Participate in call rotation, with a commitment of one day per week and one weekend approximately every four weeks.
• Attend and contribute to clinical screening and reviews as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR or related surgical services.
• Open to first-time travelers.
• Must pass a clinical screening to ensure clinical fit based on departmental needs.

Additional Information

Travelers are expected to work a maximum of 7 days off during the assignment. If assigned during major holidays, travelers may be required to work these holidays based on the schedule:

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length.

Schedule

Shifts are day shifts consisting of three 12-hour workdays each week.

Compliance

Full compliance is required to start on time; any delays may push back the start date by two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
