Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift position. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
• Participate in unit activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience is required.
• Must possess a valid nursing license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.

Shift Information

This position includes three 12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Contract Options

Available contract options are for a duration of 13 to 18 weeks.
