ED Boarder Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated ED Boarder Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will primarily work night shifts and will be required to work every other weekend and holiday.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including those in the hallway and designated care bays.
• Manage multiple patient care areas effectively, ensuring timely access to medications and supplies.
• Work collaboratively within a team to provide essential care in a rapidly changing environment.
• Monitor and evaluate patient statuses, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with departmental policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Must possess a valid nursing license or certificate by the appropriate regulatory authority.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This position will require night shifts, working every other weekend and holiday. Flexibility and adaptability to changing demands are essential for success in this role.
