Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. Assist patients in restoring mobility, improving functionality, and achieving their treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as outlined in the PT plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Assist with patient education and develop home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising PT.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain.
• Capability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
