Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN

Job Overview

This position is responsible for delivering nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice. The role requires adherence to hospital policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients within the OB/GYN unit.
• Follow established protocols, policies, and best practices in patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in OB/GYN nursing is required.
• Travel experience is preferred.

Certifications

• AWHONN (Advanced Specialty in Women’s Healthcare)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) by AHA

License Requirements

• Active registered nurse license in the state of Michigan is required at the time of submission.

Work Schedule

• 36-hour guarantee per week.
• Weekend requirements apply.
• On-call requirements apply.
