Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in the care and management of assigned patients within the OB/GYN specialty. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria.
• Making clinical judgments based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills.
• Assisting in the planning, direction, and teaching of non-RN staff, including LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.
• Demonstrating flexibility with work schedule changes, including varied shifts.

Shift Information

The position includes varied 12-hour shifts, with schedules negotiable. Weekend work is required every third weekend, and there is no on-call requirement.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of OB experience (required).
• Completion of at least one travel assignment (required).
• Ability to function as a first assist and scrub OB (highly preferred).

Certification Requirements

All applicants must hold the following active certifications:

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• S.T.A.B.L.E certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification

State License Requirements

An active Ohio or Compact RN license is required.
