Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Work Schedule

This position requires three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Unit Information

The role is situated in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, focusing on patient care and monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 18 months of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Registered Nurse license or a Compact State license.
• Current certifications in AHA BLS and ACLS are required.

Essential Responsibilities

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while monitoring vital signs and responding to any changes in patient condition. Duties include:

• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educating patients and families on health management and wellness.

Additional Information

Block schedules are not applicable to this position. Candidates should be prepared to adapt to the dynamic environment of a Med/Surg Tele unit.
