Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential support to patients in their journey toward functional independence. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will assist in implementing therapy interventions and contributing to patient care plans in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients and their families on the therapeutic process and objectives.
• Communicate patient status and progress regularly to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
