Schedule

• 3×12 shifts
• Rotating holidays and weekends
• Block scheduling is not available

Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required. Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays.

Unit Information

The Labor & Delivery Unit provides comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum. The department includes:

• 14 Labor & Delivery rooms
• OB Triage Unit
• OB Operating Rooms
• OB Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Recent expansions have introduced five brand-new Labor & Delivery rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology designed for comfort, safety, and family-centered care, creating an exceptional birthing experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of current, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB Triage experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted (C-EFM must be obtained if contract extensions meet or exceed 1 year from initial contract start date)
