Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies.
• Utilize GE equipment and SPEC CTG850 machinery to perform diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Ensure accurate imaging results and maintain high-quality standards in patient care.
• Work collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess ARRT N and ARRT R certifications.
• BLS certification required.
• State license is mandatory.
• Experience in performing high scan loads for both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position offers a full-time schedule of 5×8 hours, Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 16:00. The unit is open to 4×10 scheduling options.

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility to float within the specialty and to other units as required.
• Availability to work every other weekend, including a weekend on-call requirement (either Saturday or Sunday, not consecutive days).
• Participation in holiday shifts as scheduled is necessary.

Patient Demographics

This role primarily involves working with adult and geriatric patients.

Black scrubs are required for this position.
