Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, working from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. This role requires commitment to every other weekend.

On-Call Requirements

On-call duties are required, with a total of two 12-hour shifts in a six-week period.

Floating Requirements

No floating between units or facilities is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience is required.
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
• Licensure: Must possess an active RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state/compact RN license.
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • AWHONN Beginner
  • AWHONN Intermediate
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
  • NRP
• Preferred Certifications:
  • AWHONN Advanced
  • STABLE
• Special Requirements: Epic experience is preferred. Comfort with couplet care or transition nursery is highly desirable.

Additional Information

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend is mandatory.
• Local Radius: Candidates must reside within 60 miles to be considered.
• Local Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off one shift per two-week period.
