Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. This position involves working a night shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a requirement to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor and assess fetal health and maternal well-being.
• Assist in the delivery process and provide support to new mothers in couplet care and transition nursery settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and Philips Intellispace for fetal monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience required.
• Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, and NRP.
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced and STABLE.
• Epic experience is highly preferred.
• Must be comfortable with couplet care or transition nursery principles.

Miscellaneous

• Block schedule accommodations may be possible with manager approval.
• Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application.
• Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.
