Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT)

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Multimodality Tech specializing in X-Ray and Computed Tomography (CT). This hybrid role requires the performance of CT scans and radiographic exams while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and radiographic exams of designated anatomical areas as directed.
• Produce detailed computerized tomographic scans and diagnostic radiographs.
• Obtain patient history and explain routine procedures to patients.
• Address patient concerns and provide support throughout the imaging process.

Shift Details

The position requires work on Friday to Sunday, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on Sunday. The role includes on-call responsibilities among staff at specific locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist with a focus on Computed Tomography.
• First-time applicants are welcomed.
• National certification is required: ARRT (R) (CT), SCRQSA (R) (CT), CPR, and BLS.
• Must have completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by the state radiation quality standards association.
• Certification in CPR is mandatory, obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency.

Miscellaneous

• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may apply.
• All requests for time off must be included at the time of application for consideration.
• The facility reserves the right to call off one shift per two-week period.

Hospital Highlights

This role supports an acute care environment and includes interaction with a free-standing emergency room featuring X-ray and CT capabilities. Charting is performed using Epic software, and there is no parking fee for employees.

Additional Information

Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams. This typically occurs from June through November, with peak hurricane activity in August and September.
