Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in a combined outpatient and inpatient setting, delivering a comprehensive range of rehabilitation services. This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a general rural clinic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services on an outpatient basis, focusing primarily on general degenerative conditions, post-surgical recovery, workers’ compensation cases, and trauma for patients of all ages.
• Provide inpatient coverage as necessary, ensuring continuity of care across different service areas.
• Administer wound care treatments if certified and applicable.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per regulatory standards.
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage (less than once per month) to ensure comprehensive care availability.

Schedule

This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The schedule comprises 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an unpaid lunch break.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Certification in wound care is a plus.
