Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position. The nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry environment.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Current and valid nursing license in Ohio or a compact state.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Schedule

This position offers night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. No block schedules are available.

Contract Duration

Contract options are available for 13 to 20 weeks.
