Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in endoscopy procedures and the ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Position Details

• Shift: 5×8 hours, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• On-call Requirement: Yes, approximately every third weekend from 3 PM Friday to 6 AM Monday. On-call duties will be shared with two other full-time RNs.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Endoscopy RN include:

• Providing direct patient care in the endoscopy unit.
• Utilizing appropriate nursing interventions during endoscopic procedures.
• Ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience required.
• Licensure: South Carolina nursing license or compact nursing license must be obtained prior to start date.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Additional Information

• Local Radius: Candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility; locals accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• Parking: No cost for parking on the premises.
• Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June to November), they may be assigned to emergency response teams.
