Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our team. This position involves a rotating schedule, providing essential care for pediatric patients experiencing a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates and pediatric patients.
• Monitor and assess patients with conditions such as prematurity, apnea of prematurity (AOP), retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), congenital cardiac defects, feeding difficulties, and neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS).
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Float to other areas within the specialty as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Experience with conditions including NAS, iatrogenic NAS, and tracheostomy care is required.

Work Schedule

Shifts include a rotating schedule of 3×12 hours (07:00 – 19:30 / 19:00 – 07:30). This role requires commitment to work weekends (every other weekend) and holidays as scheduled.
