Registered Nurse – Cancer Center Infusion

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cancer Center Infusion unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology and outpatient chemotherapy administration.

Shifts and Schedule

• Three 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• No weekend or holiday shifts

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies in an outpatient setting.
• Monitor patient responses and manage any side effects effectively.
• Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care practices.
• Document all nursing activities and patient interactions accurately.

Qualifications

• Oncology nursing experience is required.
• Outpatient chemotherapy experience is essential.
• BLS certification required.
• Valid nursing license and certificate verification necessary.
