Occupational Therapist (OT)

Contract Overview

This is a 15-week contract position focused on providing holiday coverage. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience, with the ability to work independently.
• Must hold a valid Washington state OT license.
• BLS certification required.

Patient Types & Common Diagnoses

The candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with:

• Cerebrovascular accidents (CVA)
• Orthopedic conditions
• Dementia

Responsibilities will include creating discharge recommendations and home program suggestions.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in patient evaluation and therapy delivery.
• Ability to create and recommend home exercise programs.
• Familiarity with the Epic electronic health record system is preferred.

Floating Requirements

The position requires floating throughout the facility, with the exception of pediatric units.

Attire and Parking

• Scrub colors should be neutral or solid.
• Parking is available adjacent to the facility.
