Manager of Operations, Operating Room

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Operations for our Operating Room department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring all surgical activities are conducted efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: Supervise, hire, and train nurses, technicians, and support personnel to maintain a high-performing team.
• Operations & Scheduling: Coordinate daily surgical room assignments and optimize workflow for increased efficiency.
• Budget Management: Oversee departmental financial performance by managing supply purchases and resource allocation effectively.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations, infection control protocols, and sterile processing standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Manager of Operations experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Active state nursing license in Michigan.
