Surgical Support Aide

Shift Details

This position operates on a mids shift schedule: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Orientation and the initial three weeks will require the selected candidate to work the first shift from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM for unit familiarization.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the surgical process by providing support to surgical teams.
• Lifting and transporting patients as needed.
• Cleaning and turning over surgical rooms in preparation for subsequent procedures.
• Ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are ready and available for surgical teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.

Additional Information

This role may require occasional travel between various locations within the region. Candidates are expected to adapt quickly to the work environment and follow established protocols for patient safety and care.
