We provide comprehensive healthcare services to a wide area, serving as a referral center for multiple communities. Our facility offers a range of services including inpatient and outpatient emergency care, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, and urological procedures. Position Summary

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for performing various nursing care procedures that require professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The role requires the ability to work independently while adhering to established guidelines, which include physician’s orders, standards of care, and nursing policies and procedures. Nursing duties encompass support for patients of all ages and their families.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.

License and Certification

• A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States of America, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Must maintain current valid certifications throughout employment:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within six months of hire

Shift Information

• Day shift: 0630-1900
• Holiday coverage is required.
