Cath Lab Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technician with a strong background in cardiac catheterization and additional experience in either Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro specialties. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months of relevant experience in the field, with two years preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform catheterization procedures and assist with interventional radiology procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Flexibility to float within the scope of practice to meet the needs of the facility.
• Participate in on-call duties as required, based on unit needs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in Cath Lab with proficiency in at least two of the following modalities: Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro.
• Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) is preferred; RCIS certification is also desired.
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a smoke-free environment.
• All candidates must be nicotine-free and provide a negative drug screening prior to employment.

Work Schedule

• Day shifts available (4×10 hour shifts).
• Weekend shifts can be discussed with management.
• Guaranteed hours are 36 for 12-hour shifts or 40 for 8/10-hour shifts.
