Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the MS/Tele specialty. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic medical setting.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the MS/Tele unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
• Educate patients and families about health management and care processes.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as required.

Qualifications

• 12 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for is required.
• MUST have a valid permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross are required.
• NIH Stroke certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records is a must.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
• Must be able to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both.
• Availability to work at least every other holiday is required.

This position is located within the 8Main Oncology/Medical unit, where you will be an integral part of our dedicated team, delivering patient-centered care.
