Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional care to patients in labor, assist with inductions, and perform circulating roles in the operating room, as well as manage antepartum assignments.

Shift Information

• Night shift: 3 – 12 hour shifts
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current and valid nursing license in Ohio or a compact state is required.
• Certification requirements: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE must be current and submitted with your application.
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty of Labor and Delivery is required. Co-worker references will not be considered.
• Experience with EPIC Stork is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Information

During orientation, candidates will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a Safe Medicate assessment. An acceptable score on both assessments is required to successfully continue in the position.
