Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Position Overview

This role involves working within the NICU, PICU, and CVICU, providing advanced respiratory care for pediatric patients. Candidates should be prepared to float to various locations within the region, including rehabilitation and neonatal intensive care units.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level respiratory care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Conduct educational sessions for patients and their families regarding respiratory health.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active Ohio RRT license.
• Certification in BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, specifically in NICU, PICU, and high-level care units.
• Demonstrated ability to provide care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule

This position offers flexible scheduling options, with possible shifts including 3×12 or 4×12-hour rotations. Night shifts are available.

Additional Requirements

Travelers will be required to complete two fingerprintings upon hire: one onsite for facility compliance and another through the agency.
