Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Job Summary

An opportunity exists for a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and ECG readings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and self-care techniques.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Must have 12 months of permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• A valid Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory. Candidates must be willing to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start date.
• One recent professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty area is required for submission. Charge RN references are acceptable.

Additional Information

• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is required.
• Hours worked will be submitted using Qualivis – Lotus.
