Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Under the guidance and supervision of licensed physical therapists, you will provide therapeutic care to patients through various modalities. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Administering treatments such as exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress throughout treatment sessions.
• Reporting treatment results and any significant changes in patient status to the supervising physical therapist.
• Assisting patients in improving their physical function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas or a compact license.

Work Environment

This position involves an 8-hour workday with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, providing an opportunity to focus on long-term care without weekend or on-call obligations.
