Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy

Shift Information

This position operates on a day shift schedule, with potential variations in start and end times. General shift hours include:

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekend work is not routine; however, the following on-call responsibilities apply:

• 1-2 weekday on-call shifts per week until 7:00 AM
• 1-2 weekend on-call shifts every 6 weeks, covering full 24-hour periods on Saturday and Sunday
• Response time for on-call shifts is one hour
• Potential on-call duty on Labor Day

Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Endoscopy, you will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitoring patient vitals and administering medications as required.
• Educating patients and their families regarding procedures and post-care instructions.
• Adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Endoscopy nursing experience is required.
• Must possess a valid Ohio RN License or a compact state RN License.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification are mandatory.
