Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 care for medically fragile students in a school setting. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support a child’s safety, health, and ability to participate in their school day.
This role includes care during school hours and transportation (bus) as needed. No care is provided in the home—all services are delivered on the bus (if applicable) and within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 nursing care to a medically fragile pediatric patient

Monitor and manage the student’s health needs throughout the school day

Deliver skilled nursing care on the school bus (if assigned) and within the school

Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment

Respond appropriately to changes in condition and emergencies

Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans and protocols

Required Qualifications

Active LPN license 
Pediatric experience required, preferably with medically fragile children

Hands-on experience with:

Tracheostomy (Trach care)

Gastrostomy Tube (G-Tube) management

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a 1:1 setting

Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to detail

Full-time, Monday–Friday

Follows school-day hours and calendar

Consistent weekly schedule (no rotating shifts)
