Medical Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential to facilitating clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring an excellent patient experience, and maintaining the smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and test results.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and assist during procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and draw blood as necessary.
• Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups.
• Coordinate administrative tasks, including managing medical records and patient files.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards in accordance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant or relevant medical training.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
