Medical Lab Technician/Medical Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work evening shifts consisting of four 10-hour days, with the typical hours from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Flexibility in scheduling may be required based on staffing needs, including working every other Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all personnel requirements for testing under CLIA 88.
• Adhere to laboratory protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate quality patient care.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current in the field.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by a recognized certifying agent or eligibility for registry.
• Ability to meet all personnel requirements for testing personnel under CLIA 88.
• Minimum of less than 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
