Position Overview

Join a dynamic and expanding Burn Intensive Care Unit (BICU) as a dedicated Registered Nurse. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a facility known for its specialized burn care. The BICU currently accommodates 16 beds, with plans for expansion to 20 beds, providing critical care to patients with severe burn injuries.

Shift Details

• Shift: Night
• Schedule: 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Burn ICU, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to assess and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education to enhance skills and knowledge in burn care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, preferably in an intensive care setting.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records is required, with no exceptions.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make critical decisions promptly.
