MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in MRI procedures and demonstrate proficiency in patient care and safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive diagnostic imaging results to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Administer venipuncture for contrast media when necessary.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines in the imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• ARRT (R)(MR) certification and Connecticut state license required.
• BLS/BCLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Siemens MRI systems preferred for Trumbull location.
• Experience with 3T GE MRI systems required for Fairfield location.
• Proficient in venipuncture.

Shift Information

Shifts may vary by location, including options for 36+ hours per week. Candidates may be required to work evenings and be available for holiday shifts as needed.
