Registered Nurse (RN) – Urgent Care

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Urgent Care. This position involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

Responsibilities

• Float between the Urgent Care and Facility-Based Crisis (FBC) units as needed.
• Provide care and support to patients including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics.
• Manage walk-in patients and those transported due to Involuntary Commitment (IVC) status.
• Oversee patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress during short stays.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6.
• Document care provided in the electronic medical record using EPIC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Urgent Care experience is a must, particularly in a Behavioral Health setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Behavioral Health experience preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 3×12-hour work schedule, with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Additional Information

The selected nurse will be required to float between multiple facilities as necessary. This role demands adaptability and a strong ability to provide urgent and compassionate care to those in crisis.
