Case Manager – Inpatient Adults Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Case Manager specializing in Inpatient Adult care to join our team. This is an opportunity for qualified candidates to engage in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on both adult and pediatric patients.

Position Overview

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Day 5×8-Hour (08:00 – 16:30)
• Ratios: 1:25

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate inpatient cases effectively, ensuring optimal patient care and resource utilization.
• Provide case management support to both adult and pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate excellent patient outcomes.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
• First-timers: Candidates with acute care management experience are welcome to apply.

Working Conditions

• No locals within 100 miles are accepted for this position.
• Weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday required for 4×10 schedules.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week, with potential for call-offs as needed.
• Floating within the scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs.
• Accommodating block schedules is not possible for this position.

Special Requirements

• Inpatient acute care experience is essential for this role.
• Reassignment or extension of contracts requires a minimum of 10 weeks commitment.
• Travelers who have completed four consecutive assignments or reached one year must observe a six-month break before working again.
