CT Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This position involves working primarily at an outpatient facility with occasional rotations to the hospital. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in CT imaging and must hold the required certifications. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of various age groups, including adults, geriatrics, neonates, pediatrics, infants, and adolescents.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures on patients as per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
• Adhere to all protocols for infection control and radiation safety.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff when required.
• Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality patient care.

Shifts and Scheduling

This position requires working 8-hour shifts from 14:00 to 22:30, Monday through Friday, with expectations of 2-3 weekends per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• MUST be CT Certified and hold ARRT certification.
• BLS certification is not required for this position.
• Experience in inpatient settings including ER, Level 1 Trauma, and Adult ICU is preferred.
• Proficiency in administering IVs and contrast is necessary.

Department Details

This position is located within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Stroke Center, ensuring exposure to a variety of clinical situations and patient needs.
