Shift Notes

This position offers the following shifts:

• Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed, with option for up to 48 hours
• Overtime pay begins after 48 hours worked

Weekend Requirements

Weekend shifts are required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides immediate and critical care to patients experiencing acute injuries or illnesses. Working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment, this role involves:

• Rapid assessment and triage of patients
• Stabilizing patients and administering necessary treatments
• Assisting physicians during medical interventions

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Room
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (to be documented)
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and ENPC
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system

Dress Code

The dress code for this position requires grey scrubs.

Licensure Requirements

Applicants must hold an active Michigan nursing license at the time of submission. Verification through LARA and Nursys is required. In the event of any licensure issues, an explanation may be requested for review.
