Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in adult critical care. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality respiratory care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to adult patients in critical care settings.
• Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize Hamilton ventilation and EPIC charting systems to document patient care effectively.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols.

Schedule

This position offers flexible scheduling with the option for 3 x 12-hour shifts or a full-time commitment of 48 hours per week (4 x 12-hour shifts). Shifts will rotate based on staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in adult critical care preferred.
• Familiarity with Hamilton vent and EPIC charting is advantageous.
