Ultrasound Technologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound imaging and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general, obstetric, and minimal vascular ultrasound studies, including assessments for DVT and carotid evaluations.
• Maintain a consistent schedule of 10 scans/studies per day, adhering to the volume of scheduled and add-on patients.
• Utilize EMR and PACS systems, including CERNER, SYNGO WORKFLOW, and SECTRA PACS for efficient patient management.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure exceptional service and care delivery.

Shift Information

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
• Work pattern consists of three 10-hour days one week and two 10-hour days the next week, amounting to 50 hours per pay period.
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology.
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RDMS, and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS.
• Ability to operate Siemens ACUSON S2000 ultrasound equipment and perform various imaging studies.
• No need to start IVs or float to other areas.
