Minimum Experience Requirement

2 years of direct patient care experience in a variety of settings.

Certifications/Requirements

• Rehabilitation Certifications (ASHA, CHT, ACP Training)
• BLS Certification
• Active state license in Alaska

Job Description

This is a temporary position for a duration of four weeks, from November 30 to December 31. The role involves supporting the current Physical Therapist with both outpatient and inpatient care. The candidate will provide primary PT coverage during the last two weeks of December, including performing any necessary evaluations for new inpatients.

Additional Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with swing bed or inpatient experience.

Working Environment

The position entails providing care in a small, critical access setting. Working during the holiday season offers the opportunity to engage in local traditions, including tree lighting, community events, music concerts, and outdoor winter activities, contingent on weather conditions. Note that the operation will be closed on December 25.

Availability to cover holidays is required.
