Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience and previous travel experience. This position involves working in a 29-bed unit that provides comprehensive care to adult and geriatric orthopedic patients, as well as medical-surgical patients. The unit offers telemetry monitoring and has a physical therapy gym, enabling patients to receive essential therapies without leaving the unit.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
• Shift Timing: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a variety of patients, including those who have undergone total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties.
• Manage care for moderate volume patient populations involving other surgical procedures, as well as inpatient and 24-hour observation medical patients.
• Perform Charge RN duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Charge RN experience is mandatory.
