CT Technologist

Position Overview

The Multi-Modality Technologist is responsible for providing quality imaging and exceptional patient care within both X-ray and CT modalities. This role involves effectively explaining procedures to patients and ensuring their understanding, as well as producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Nights, 3 shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating Requirement: Possible to float to similar units as needed

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Certifications Required:
  • Registered in Radiography (ARRT) (R)
  • Registered in Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C)
  • SCRQSA
  • BLS
  • ACLS (Pending certification accepted within 2-3 weeks of hire)
• Highly Preferred Experience: Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, Orthopedic exams in both modalities, experience with Siemens equipment, EPIC electronic medical record system, and PACS imaging systems
• Radiation Badge: Must be provided by employing agency (not provided on-site)

• Radius Rule: 60 miles
• Local Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis with a reduction in pay
• Time Off Requests: All requests must be included at the time of submission, approval based on unit needs
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per 2-week period

Important Notice

During hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Consider this when confirming assignments from June through November, particularly in peak months of August and September.
