Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential care and support to residents in an assisted living environment during evening and night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a profound commitment to enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals and supporting their daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Support residents in daily living activities, including eating and mobility.
• Monitor and document residents’ health status and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents and assist in maintaining proper sanitation.
• Follow individual care plans set forth by healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified nursing assistant with a valid certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in assisted living or long-term care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with elderly residents.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Work Schedule

This position involves evening and night shifts, requiring flexibility to meet the needs of residents and the team.
