Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care and support to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed.
• Perform diagnostic tests and evaluate patient responses to therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ohio respiratory therapy license at the time of application.
• Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is necessary.
• Availability to work weekends as needed and the ability to float between facilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule

This position primarily involves night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts, from 19:00 to 07:30.
